Our story
Find My Storage was founded by someone who has spent the last ten years working in self storage marketing — testing comparison sites as a shopper, helping operators get found online, and digging through scattered information sites looking for genuinely useful resources for smaller, independent facilities.
What kept coming back was the same gap: shoppers couldn't easily compare like-for-like, and smaller operators couldn't easily compete with national chains for visibility. So we built the site we always wanted to use — clean, fair and engaging — taking the elements that actually matter to people looking for storage and giving them the information they need to make a confident decision.
On the operator side, we work on a flat monthly subscription rather than a commission. That means every enquiry goes straight to the facility, and every pound of marketing spend builds something the operator actually owns: a verified listing, search visibility, real analytics and a growing library of marketing resources.
